Begun in 1974 by the late Juline Frowein Schmitz, the primary goal of Juline · School of Dance is to give every child and adult a positive feeling about him or herself while offering the highest quality of training possible. Our expertly trained faculty is dedicated to the building of self-esteem in each student along with a knowledge, appreciation and genuine love for the art of dance. Classes are offered in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Modern and Hip-Hop. Summer Classes are also offered; Dance Camp, Summer Intensive and the Central California Summer Dance Conservatory. Ages 2 through Adult are welcomed.
We are the home of the Juline Foundation for Children (JFC), a non-profit organization, working to provide all children who have a desire to perform and be self-expressive the opportunity to do so through dance. The JFC Outreach Program conducts classes in the public schools and gives those outreach students an opportunity to perform and be on a real stage each spring. The Juline Regional Youth Ballet (JRYB) provides young, serious minded dancers the opportunity to study and explore all areas of dance. Entrance to the JRYB is by audition only and JRYB is a member of Regional Dance America.
